Summer is over and September has arrived. With the ongoing shortage of housing supply, we are expecting a strong Fall market both in terms of sales and prices.

Average selling prices are up with the condominium apartment segment continuing to lead the way in terms of price growth, followed by higher density low-rise home types and finally detached homes.

Competition between buyers has increased, which has led to stronger annual rates of price growth. Overall, price growth is moderate, but if demand for ownership continues to increase relative to the supply of listings, the annual rate of growth will accelerate further.
